DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF A MODULAR FRONTAL IMPACT TESTRIG

I worked along with the Component Testing Laboratory (CTL) team where I designed a modular frontal impact test rig according to Automotive Industry Standard (AIS-029) for frontal collision testing on commercial vehicles.

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A BIW STRUCTURE

This project helped me use every topic taught under the Vehicle Structural Analysis for Automotive Systems course which majorly focuses on Body-in-White structures, their bending and torsional stiffness, crashworthiness, designing of roof header, vehicle mass compounding and vehicle packaging.

3D PRINTING A DOUBLE-WISHBONE SUSPENSION SYSTEM

This project gave me an in-depth insight into the steps followed during the additive manufacturing (3D Printing) process.

LINEAR STATIC ANALYSIS OF A RACECAR FRAME

In this project, a racecar frame was subjected to different loading conditions to simulate bending, shear, and torsional loads on the vehicle using Altair Hyperworks.

DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING OF A RACECAR PROTOTYPE VEHICLE

Working on this project during my bachelor's studies helped me visualize everything from the books on a real-world scenario. I worked as a part of the Design team where we worked on designing and optimizing the racecar tubular frame resulting in a weight savings of 10%.

DESIGN AND DRAFTING OF A BRAKE ROTOR

This project aided in exploring the various GD&T symbols used while drafting a part working in tight tolerances and the inspection methods used to validate the part after its manufacturing is complete.
